Are you looking for the perfect family touring caravan that refuses to compromise on space, luxury, or practicality? Discover the 2019 Bailey Pegasus Grande Turin. Built with Bailey’s signature 8-foot-wide body configuration, this popular twin-axle, 6-berth caravan offers an incredibly spacious home-from-home layout designed specifically for family touring or seasonal pitch placements.
Unrivalled Space: The 8ft Wide Revolution
The standout feature of the Bailey Pegasus Grande range is its extra-wide 2.45m (8ft) bodyshell. This injection of extra space completely redefines the internal living areas. All six sleeping berths are over 6ft long, providing genuine comfort for adults and growing children alike. Constructed with the high-performance Alu-Tech bodyshell, this caravan provides superior protection against the elements and exceptional structural integrity.
Versatile Living & Sleeping Arrangements
The layout of the 2019 Bailey Pegasus Grande Turin is masterfully configured for large families:
- The Front Lounge: Features a wide, comfortable parallel seating arrangement beneath a signature panoramic vertical front skylight. This bright social hub easily converts into a large, supportive double bed at night.
- Central U-Shaped Dinette: Positioned opposite the kitchen, this wide dining area provides the perfect space for family meals or game nights and seamlessly transitions into another spacious double bed.
- Rear French Bed: A permanent, comfortable fixed corner double bed with a premium mattress, overhead lockers, and generous under-bed storage accessible from an external locker door.
A Fully Equipped Home Kitchen
Cooking for a large family is effortless in the Turin’s central kitchen. It comes fully loaded with premium appliances, including:
- A massive Dometic 145-litre tower fridge freezer
- A flush-mounted microwave oven
- A Thetford dual-fuel hob (3 gas burners + 1 electric hotplate) with a separate oven and grill
- A square stainless steel sink with an integrated draining board
Premium Comfort and Premium Safety
The Turin is built to keep you comfortable through all four seasons, powered by a dual-fuel Truma Combi heating and hot water system.
Towing a twin-axle caravan of this size is made significantly safer and more relaxing thanks to the factory-fitted AL-KO ATC (Active Trailer Control) system and an AL-KO stabiliser hitch. Many pre-owned models also come fitted with premium upgrades like an all-wheel-drive motor mover for effortless pitch positioning.
