Ambassador was, is, and probably always will be a part of Isabella collections. Why? Because it provides you with the best of both worlds; a relatively lightweight awning good for touring,  which on the other hand is also easy to put up and gives you plenty of space to relax in. This is Ambassador; compact enough for touring yet spacious. Isabella also made sure that this lightweight full caravan awning is also packed with fabulous features which will benefit your holiday touring time.

First of all, the indoor climate within the Ambassador will be comfortable. This is thanks to mosquito nets in both sides of the awning; the super small perforation allows even the smallest breeze of air in while keeping annoying bugs out. On top of that, Ambassador provides you with top integrated ventilation in the front panel which will prove life-saving in hot sticky summers. Perhaps most importantly, the wall material cares for your indoor atmosphere; the canvas are made of Isabella's well-known Isacryl 295g/m², their optimal, durable, breathable, fibre-dyed acrylic material. Isacryl has the highest achievable fade-resistance thanks to the pigmentation method. The density of the weave plus the impregnation all the way through prevents water ingress. Nevertheless, Isacryl is a breathable material, which facilitates the best possible indoor climate in the awning.

Isacryl is the most colourfast material you can have. This will allow the beautiful shades of your Ambassador to stay vibrant and clean. This is important, as Isabella cared for the appearance of this awning; it is a part of their DAWN collection i.e. a mild and subdued tone-on-tone colour scheme inspired by the misty morning landscape. For a good, natural inflow of daylight - even at dawn - and to ensure that the awning is light and accommodating place to spend time, Ambassador Dawn has large, panelled panorama windows in the front.

The roof of this latest model is made of IsaRoof 285 g/m² - a UV acrylate coated polyester, with an added top coat in 2 layers. This perfect roof material will protect you from the sun, so you can find shelter in your Ambassador Dawn.

Of course, the doctrine of Isabella is 'Feel Free' and indeed, you are free to choose the design of your Ambassador Dawn with removable front and side panels. Lastly, you are free to choose one of three fabulous frames to complement your Ambassador Dawn; Zinox Steel, Zinox MegaFrame and CarbonX.

The Zinox Steel frame is hot galvanised both inside and out to extend its life and to meet all load-bearing requirements. The steel frame is made of ISO-certified steel. The strength of the Zinox steel frame makes it particularly suitable for pitching your caravan permanently. Caravanning in the off-peak seasons demands great structural stability due to weather conditions such as strong winds and snow. This fabulous frame is supplied with T-Rex locking mechanism. It locks the poles in place and keeps them tensioned in all weather conditions with one press of the handgrip and a discreet "click".

Since Ambassador Dawn is made of strong wall and roof materials, it can be used as a permanent pitch awning too! To complement this use of Ambassador, you can choose the Zinox MegaFrame which supplies you with the highest possible strength, stability and durability in the most inclement weathers. It is a tubular steel frame (material thickness: 32mm/1.2mm so much wider than the standard Zinox) with welded corners and MegaFix on the poles. MegaFrame is designed for year-round use with a full awning which can remain standing all year and can withstand most powerful storms, snowfall and torrential rain. The Zinox MegaFrame is supplied with two extra rafter poles, as well as one Hercules Triple. This is a great deal from Isabella, as Hercules Triple is a brilliant product, improved even further for the new line. This device provides optimal tightening of the awning to ensure that the canvas is correctly tensioned. It counteracts wind noise and provides much greater stability of the whole awning! This in turn, not only makes your holidays even more enjoyable but it also extends the life of the awning as the load is evenly spread over all its parts.  The handle and swingarm are cast in aluminium, so Hercules Triple weighs just 250 g. This is definitely the frame to choose if you want to challenge your awning to the most adverse weather conditions.

Both Zinox and Zinox MegaFrame are made up of 4 layers:

CarbonX frame, on the other hand, is a carbon-fibre reinforced fibreglass frame which is suitable for both permanent and touring caravanning, giving you the best of both worlds. Carbon Fibres are combined with glass fibres in varying amounts, according to pole diameters to offer maximum strength. The frame is light and fully corrosion resistant. All CarbonX frames are supplied with IsaFix locking mechanism. With IsaFix in place, keeping the frame in position is easy. With one press of the handgrip, a discreet "click" tells you IsaFix is locked in position. CarbonX frame is made up of 6 layers:

Ambassador Dawn also fits optional Annexes: North, Grey or Sand 250. You can find them by clicking on the hyperlinks or in the 'Buy Together' tab above. The annexes are great for increasing your living area whenever you need it. They are also useful for storage, and can even be used as an extra sleeping space for unexpected guests! Moreover, you can separate your Ambassador's space into two with a Partition Wall - this will improve the temperature homeostasis in both compartments (because temperatures fluctuate less in smaller rooms). On those hot summer days when you want to chill at the entrance of your awning - breathe in fresh air while being in the shade from the sun - an awning Door Canopy will prove useful for you!

To create your own sheltered corner on those warm stuffy days, Isabella recommends their brand new awning accessory: Cosy Corner. It attaches to either side of Ambassador very easily and will allow you to have your own 'me' space. If you want to go all-in with a sheltered area for your whole family, Eclipse Sun Canopy will be for you; it can be attached easily to either the front of the awning or straight onto the caravan (if you can't be bothered to erect an awning). In the off-seasons, on the other hand, you may want extra peace of mind with Storm Securing Set.

Delivery

When you place your order online with us you will receive an automatic e-mail notification of the receipt of your order.

We normally ship all stock orders on the weekday following receipt of order by courier. We send a confirmation email on despatch and you should normally receive your order within 3 to 5 week days, sometimes earlier. The courier also normally sends tracking information when received at their hub.  A signature will be required on delivery.  

Should we be unfortunately out of stock and unable to ship your order, you will normally be contacted within 2 days to enable you to choose whether you wish to wait for the next delivery to us, change to another product or to cancel your order and payment at no charge. This backorder status normally means we are awaiting stock to arrive.

Please note we do not stock all sizes of all items. Items such as full awnings often come direct from the manufacturer to save time. If we are shipping direct from the manufacturer we will let you know. If there is a significant delay we will also let you know once we have placed the order with the manufacturer and they confirm delivery. In extremely busy periods the manufacturers can take a few extra days to deliver.

Most orders will fall into the two sub categories.  Orders over certain weights and sizes will incur additional shipping charges.

For shipments to Highlands and Islands, or outside of the United Kingdom please  contact us to  discuss your order and confirm carriage charges according to the size and weight of your shipment.  We reserve the right to charge carriage supplements if couriers levy a surcharge due to size, weight or destination on orders placed at standard carriage terms. 

Please check your order on arrival – any shortages or damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

Returns 

We are confident that you will enjoy your purchase, however, in the unlikely event that you have a concern on receiving your item(s), please get in touch with us first. In some cases we can resolve a problem without the goods needing to be returned, at other times we may need to refer to the manufacturer for the best course of action.

KEEP THE BOX – if you unfortunately have to return your item, it will need to be shipped back to us. We strongly advise that you keep the original packaging (particularly for awnings and larger items) flat-packed for a reasonable length of time. We reserve the right to apply a surcharge for goods returned to us which have been damaged in transit.

Cancellation/Refunds: We must be notified within 14 days of receipt and the goods must arrive back to us within 30 days of receipt.  After 30 days from initial delivery, faulty items will be repaired or replaced at the supplier’s discretion.  All customer deliveries are tracked and delivery dates recorded. Returns are accepted provided that the items are unused, in a resaleable condition, with relevant labels attached. Whilst we accept that you may have inspected your purchase to ensure it meets your requirements, where it is evident that more handling (or use) has occurred than we would expect for the purposes of ascertaining suitability, characteristics and function, a proportionate deduction for the diminishment of value will be made.

To return an item please do so via a Post Office or other carrier, or direct to our store at Newcastle. Please note that goods are returned at your own expense and the goods are your responsibility until they reach us. We highly recommend that you keep a copy of any shipping receipt.

In the interests of quality control, all returned goods will be inspected by us or the manufacturer prior to any refund or repair being made. Refunds are normally processed within 14 days from when goods arrive back to the warehouse and the refunded amount will be allocated to the account from which the payment was originally made (please note that payment clearance periods are dictated by the card issuers and are outside our control).
