The 2026 Elddis Avante Apex 840 is an 8ft-wide, twin-axle touring caravan engineered specifically for large families. As a premium "dealer special" style upgrade the Apex edition pairs an exceptionally spacious layout, 6 berth with fixed french bed , u-shaped dinette and long front lounge seating with off-grid-ready enhancements like a factory-fitted solar panel and an external cold-water shower.
Layout & Interior Features
The highly versatile 840 layout maximizes family comfort by segmenting the caravan into dedicated living zones:
- Front Lounge: Features comfortable parallel seating that easily converts into a large pull-out double bed.
- Side Dinette & Bunks: A dedicated side-dinette space provides extra seating during the day and transforms into bunk bedding at night.
- Fixed Bed: A comfortable, permanent French double bed positioned toward the rear.
- End Washroom: A full-width rear bathroom outfitted with a cassette toilet, hand basin, and a separate, fully lined shower cubicle.
Apex Premium Enhancements
Choosing the Apex model adds significant external and internal upgrades over standard configurations:
- Exterior Upgrades: Diamond Silver sides, upgraded Silver graphics, GRP side panels, an external gas BBQ point, a 230V external socket, and an outdoor wash station/shower point.
- Climate & Off-Grid Living: Equipped with robust Whale blown-air heating and a roof-mounted solar panel.
- Kitchen Equipment: Fitted with a modern microwave, fridge, oven, hob, and an omnivent extractor fan.
